Historical Background
Gayatri Tapobhumi was established by pandit shriram sharma acharya, the Revered Seer and Founder of the all world gayatri pariwar . It served as the First Spiritual Center of the Movement, where Tapasya (austerity), Yajnas (Sacred Fire Rituals), and spiritual training were practiced under the Guidance of The Divine Mother.
The Sacred Temple was built to promote the Teachings of Maa Gayatri, The Divine Mother of wisdom, light, and righteousness. The Site became a hub of spiritual enlightenment and cultural awakening rooted in the power and grace of Gayatri Sadhana.
The Tapobhumi is known for housing the Divine Fire Altar, where countless Yajnas have been performed in reverence to The Divine Mother. Pandit shriram sharma acharya performed his 24 mahapurashcharanas (intense spiritual practices) of Maa Gayatri Mantra at this very location.
